Exceleron Software Hosts First Annual Prepaid Seminar

How Prepaid Can Impact Your Future, a two-day prepaid seminar hosted by Exceleron Software in Dallas, Texas, on December 7 and 8, was well received by approximately 50 attendees including 20 cooperatives and six vendors from the metering, CIS and prepaid industries.

Featured sessions included Introduction to Prepaid, Brunswick Electric Cooperative Case Study, Oklahoma Electric Cooperative Case Study, How to Implement a Successful Prepaid Strategy, Promoting Prepaid to Your Members, Prepaid ROI Discussion, Member Service Impact Discussion, demonstration of Exceleron Software’s Prepaid Account Management System (PAMS) solution, Exceleron’s MyUsage demonstration, discussion of CIS/AMR Integration, presentation on TWAC’s Prepaid Solution

Craig Hutson, CTO of Exceleron, served as both moderator and presenter with featured guest speakers or panel participants being Charles Barton, Jonna Buck and Amy McElhany of Oklahoma Electric; JoAnn Moody of DCSI; Doug Backer of Cannon, Mike Green of NISC; and Scott Juranek of Hunt.   Emphasis was placed on roundtable discussions in which all panel members and speakers answered questions and addressed concerns of the audience. “We gained much knowledge about prepaid and how implementing a prepaid solution works for other co-ops,” said Dennis Hall of Co-Mo Electric.”  “We look forward to Exceleron’s presentation at Tech Advantage 2007,” Hall added.
