Lake Region Electric Cooperative (Waggoner, Oklahoma) and Pee Dee Electric Cooperative (Darlington, South Carolina) recently began  offering Exceleron Software's Prepaid Account Management System (PAMS) as an alternative to traditional monthly billing and large deposits.

Lori Stucky, VP of Member Service at Pee Dee Electric had this to say, "We really like the benefits given our members though this program -- it allows members to see their usage on a daily basis which gives them the ability to manage and conserve. Being able to offer an alternative to paying a deposit is a wonderful attribute -- a great selling point in itself!" Lori added.

Lake Region and Pee Dee will soon undertake a full marketing effort to promote the prepaid alternative throughout their service areas.
